天道

deva-gati, or devasopāna, [lang id =1028]天趣.

(1) The highest of the six paths [lang id =1028]六道, the realm of devas, i. e. the eighteen heavens of form and four of formlessness. A place of enjoyment, where the meritorious enjoy the fruits of good karma, but not a place of progress toward bodhisattva perfection.

(2) The Dao of Heaven, natural law, cosmic energy; according to the Daoists, the origin and law of all things.

◆天即欲界、 色界、 無色界諸天也。 謂因修上品十善， 復修世間禪定， 得生其中， 是名天道。 ◆天者， 最高最上， 極大極尊， 受用出於自然， 快樂莫非如意， 由昔廣修淨行故感此報， 是名天道。 ◆天， 即天然， 自然樂勝身勝， 是名天道。

又名天趣， 為六道之一。 天是指欲界色界無色界等諸天， 因其依處在諸趣之上， 故名為天， 身有光明， 故名為天， 果報最勝， 故名為天。
